Sunshine Smile

This is the portrait of my daughter Sharada, who was talking to me one morning and my husband had a camera and he took a pic as the sunrays kissed her face. I thought of painting this young girl, mischievously smiling, representing the youth/kid life experience we all go through. When I think back, I get a rush of memories that walk past like a panorama. It took me years back and lives in those thoughts for a while. The dimples, half-closed eyes, and a wit on her lips make the art charming and cheerful, and a mood booster with positive vibes.
